Soundcards - internal & external

We have choosen to use RME soundcards as a "standard" i our facilities. The reason is that they can be used in support from both Linux and MS Windows OS-environment.

RME cards are known to deliver low-latency, multichannel performance through on-board DSP-power and standard asio-driver interface to OS-environment. We have a number of different cards available mounted in standard desktop/tower computers. You can take a look on the list and try to estimate the best choice for your application, but you can not be sure that all boards are free to use - so please contact akutek before final decision on what board to use.

  • RME Digi 96/8 PST - PCI, 8 i/o channels, 24 bit & 96kHz sampling supported
  • RME Digi 9652 - PCI, 26 i/o channels, 24 bit & 96kHz sampling supported
  • RME HDSP 9632 - PCI, 12 i/o channels, 24 bit & 192kHz sampling supported
  • RME HDSP 9652 - PCI, 26 i/o channels, 24 bit & 96kHz sampling supported

External soundcards - available on request (contact akutek)

  • ARTcessories USB DualPre - USB interface, 16 bit 44.1 / 48kHz, two channel preamplifier, powered from USB, batteri or 12 V adaptor
  • IMG Stage Line DMA-1USB - USB interface, 16 bit 44.1 / 48kHz, analog gain
  • RME Fireface UFXplus - USB/TB 12 analog i/o, 24 bit & 192kHz sampling supported & 2x ADAT & MADI interfaces
  • RME Fireface802 - Firewire/USB 12 analog i/o, 24 bit & 192kHz sampling supported & 2x ADAT interfaces
  • RME Multiface - PCMCIA, 8 analog i/o channels, 24 bit & 96kHz sampling supported & ADAT interface
  • Roland Edirol UA-25 / UA-25ex- USB, 2 channel analog i/o, 24 bit & 96kHz sampling supported
  • Roland Edirol UA-5 - USB, 2 channel analog i/o, 24bit & 96kHz sampling supported
