Patient Safety

What - do we have patients here ???

No we don't but anyway you have to consider and take care of safety in your setups when subjects are involved.

Care should be taken especially when using setups where your setup (or part of) are connected to mains power (230 Vac), and your subjects, either by accident or as part of experiment, comes into contact with microphones, in-ear probes etc.

To get a primer to this area it might be a good idea to read Power Vars whitepaper #211 [] or you might take a look at safety info at Department of Health Science & Technology especially electrical security part

Her skal skrives noget omkring personsikkerhed i forbindelse med brug af vores netdrevne udstyr - floating chassis på pc/udstyr etc og samtidig berøring af jordet udstyr/opstilling

Attention omkring

brug af fx. målemikroner etc med 120V forsyninger og 200V polarisation

udsætte personer for høje lydtryk og lign

230V forlængere der ligger over gulv i fx lyddødt rum (check at man ikke går på kabler etc)
