IP Lab is one of three NetSec labs, in which both teaching activities and experimental research on networking and platform aspects of future packet-switched wireless networks are performed.

The lab contain experimental IP networks (based on CISCO routers and switches) that can be accessed via multiple technologies, among those Bluetooth and Wireless LAN (802.11a,b,g).

Furthermore, there are selected dedicated test networks for Personal Networks, ad-hoc networking aspects, Header Compression, OFDM based access technologies, high-expendability solutions for IP-based services, RRM platform, security protocols and traffic generator platform.
