El sikkerhed
Stærkstrømsbekendtgørelsens regler er gældende. Specielt Afsnit 6, kapitel 813 for ”Installationer i elektriske betjeningsrum” er gældende i alle vores laboratorierne. Stærkstrømsbekendtgørelsen.

LASER
Two set of laser classifications is used in EU. 
The old is numbered with Roman letters "Klasse II" LASER klasser
And the new with “ten digits” "Class 2" LASER klasser / LASER Classes
Beside this you should be aware that imported or old equipment can be marked differently.
The new safety classes are described in DS/EN 60825-1.
The allowed power levels in this standard are quit complicated. It depends on the wavelength, the exposure time and the angular spread of the beam.
All equipment must be marked with a safety Class, and have a user guide available, but small laser may not have space for a label, and it is not necessary.
